Time to make a dent in the world

About Me

I am a catalyst for personal growth, and my personal mission is to empower high performers to become better leaders. Taking somebody in their leadership journey from good to remarkable is a powerful intervention that can enable huge impact on their team and the world. I help my clients find the path towards their dream selves and take their first steps down that path, by working with them to find what might be blocking them from that desired growth and co-creating experiments to move forward. By integrating learnings from across my dozens of clients, I am an experienced guide for each client , identifying the pitfalls and opportunities on their path.

I draw upon a wealth of past experiences to be more effective as a coach. Before becoming a coach, I advised the leaders of Google for over ten years, including six years leading business strategy and operations for the search ads team as the Chief of Staff to the Product VP of AdWords. Before Google, I was an engineer and product manager at several technology startups, learning from different leaders and environments. Check out my LinkedIn page if you'd like to learn more.

I am certified as a coach by the International Coach Federation, and also as a New Ventures West Integral Coach, which means that I help clients develop themselves by understanding how all aspects of their life influence how they show up in the world. I trained in the Immunity to Change™ methodology by Kegan and Lahey to understand better what hidden assumptions hold people back from their goals. Lastly, I am certified with the Leadership Circle Profile 360 assessment so that you can discover what your leadership strengths are, and what might be holding you back. You can read more about my coaching philosophy here.

Outside of coaching, I mostly spend my time dad-ding my two kids, who I hope to enlist in sports I once avidly pursued like skiing and biking. I've always been passionate about connecting people and ideas, and you can see how my ideas have progressed over the last 20 years on my blog.

Choice of attention - to pay attention to this and ignore that - is to the inner life what choice of action is to the outer. In both cases man is responsible for his choice and must accept the consequences.
